Day 01
Medan – Brastagi (L,D) – Brastagi Cottage (Cottage Style Hotel)
Arrive at Medan airport. Meet and greet at the airport then depart for a two-hour
drive to Brastagi, a highland resort with its refreshing weather and magnificent
mountain scenary, through some part of the lush tropical rain forest of Sumatera.
Reaching Brastagi, visit Peceran – a village with a number of traditional houses
that are still being used. Then visit the fruit market of Brastagi. Check in hotel.

Day 02
Brastagi – Parapat – Samosir (B,L,D) Silintong**
or Sopo Toba** or Toledo Inn**
Depart fro Parapat – a famous lake resort lies on the east shore of Lake Toba.
See the slender Sipiso-piso Waterfall drops into the northern tip shore of Lake
Toba from hundred meters height. Visit the ancient King’s Palace of Simalungun
at Pematang Purba. Proceed to Parapat through the fertile vegetable and the fruit
farms, pine tree forest and spectacular view of Lake Toba along most part the
journey. Arrive in Parapat. After lunch. Leave for Samosir – a huge island in the
middle of Lake Toba. It takes 45 minutes to get the island by boat.
Arrive in Samosir, check in hotel.

Day 03
Samosir Island Tour – Medan (B,L,D) Best western Asean Int’l Hotel****
Visit the Tomb of King Sidabutar and Batak Toba Village at Tomok.
Then Ambarita, a traditional village with ancient megalithic furniture in front of
the traditional house and also visit the Village of Simanindo to watch folkdance
performance of Batak Toba people. Leave for Parapat, it takes 45 minutes by
motorboat. Depart for Medan. En route, first three hours passing by vast view
rubber, oil palm, caco plantations, paddy terraces, etc. After passing by several
small towns, arrive in Medan. After a short city tour of Medan, check in hotel.

Free at own activities until the time to be transferred to airport for departure.

Day 01
Medan – Parapat – Samosir Island (L,D) – Silintong** or Sopo Toba**

Arrive at Medan Airport, after a short meeting service at the aiport depart for
Parapat – famous mountain and lake resort on the east shore of the immense
volcanic Lake Toba, is about 175 km from Medan. En route, first hour pass by
several small towns and then followed by vast view of rubber, oil palm, cacao
plantations, paddy terraces, etc. Arrive in Parapat, leave for Samosir, a huge
lovely island in the middle of Lake Toba, in 45-minutes ferry ride. Check in hotel.

Day 02
Samosir Island Tour (B,L,D) – Silintong** or Sopo Toba** or Toledo Inn**
After breakfast, start on Samosir Island Tour by boat. Visit the Tomb of King
Sidabutar and Batak Toba Village at Tomok. Then to Ambarita a traditional
village with ancient, megalithic furniture in front of the traditional house and also
visit the Village of Simanindo to watch folkdance performance of Batak Toba
people. Afternoon return to hotel.

Day 03
Samosir Island – Brastagi (B,L,D) – Brastagi Cottage (Cottage Style Hotel)
After breakfast depart for Brastagi via the Ring Road of Lake Toba. En route
pass by pine tree plantation, the magnificent secneary of Lake Toba, fertile
vegetable and fruit farms. Visit the ancient Kins’s Palace of Simalungun at
Pematang Purba. Proceed to the slender Sipiso-piso Waterfall which drops
into Lake Toba from hundred of meter height. Arrive in Brastagi, a refreshing
mountain resort dominated by to active volcanoes. Visit the fruit market and
the traditional Batak Karo Village – Peceran. Then check in hotel.

Day 4
Brastagi – Medan – Bohorok (B,L,D) - Bukit Lawang Cottage ( tourist class )
Depart for Bohorok via Medan in 5 hour drive. First, leave Brastagi for Medan via
some part of the lush tropical rain forest of Sumatera in two-hour time. Arrive in
Medan, after a short rest, continue journey to Bohorok via some small towns and
drive through vast view of rubber, oil palm plantations, and some countryside
landscape. Arrive in Bohorok, check in hotel.

Day 5
Bohorok - Medan (B,L,D) - Best Western Asean Int'l Hotel****
Start trekking to see orang utan. First walk along the riverbank to the crossing
point and cross the river by wooden bridge to the Orang Utan rehabilitation
center. Hike up the hill through the rain forest to see the activities of those
illegally captured and young orang utans which are trained to return to their
natural habitat ( trekking is required ). After the visit, walk back to your
assembling point. Afternoon return to Medan, the capital city of North Sumatra
province. Check in hotel for overnight.

Leave for Panyabungan. Visit Lumban Binanga Village, the small town Balige with
its richly ornamented market building, winding along the road from Tarutung.
Continue journey to Panyabungan for stopover night. Check in hotel.

Day 5
Panyabungan – Bukittinggi (B,L,D) - Pusako Hotel**** or similar
The journey today is rather long but worthwhile. It exhibits the inner part of
Sumatera. The scenery of mountains, rivers, valleys and traditional villages will
relieve you from your weariness. The Equator Monument should nonetheless be
remarkable in your personal record. Then proceed to the most charming town,
the heart of Minangkabau Highland, and the center of matrilineal society of
Sumatera, Bukittinggi. Arrive in Bukittinggi in the late afternoon.
Transferred to hotel.

Day 6
Bukit Tinggi Tour (B,L,D) - Pusako Hotel**** or similar
Fullday tour to explore the beauty and the cultural aspects of Minangkabau
Highland. See the landmark of Bukittinggi – Jam Gadang (Clock Tower), the
uniqueness of the local market, museum, Ngarai Sianok – a grand valley, Koto
Gadang which is renown for its silver works and hand embroidery.
Travel further to Pagaruyung – site of the ancient Minangkabau Kingdom where
women ruled in matrilineal society. Before returning to hotel, visit the traditional
village of Lima Kaum and Balimbing. Check in hotel.

Day 7
Bukittinggi – Padang (B,L,D) - Bumi Minang Hotel**** or similar
Travel to Embun Pagi Viewpoint to view the beautiful scenery of Lake Maninjau.
Proceed to Lawang top to watch the traditional sugar refinery powered by buffalo
(rest on Tuesdays & Fridays). Then drive three hours to Padang, the capital
city of West Sumatera province, en route stopover at Anai Valley to enjoy and
witness the beauty and greenery of Anai Valley Park. Arrive in Padang,
a short city tour, then check in hotel.

Arrive at BIM (Bandara International Minangkabau), welcome service before
transfer to Bukittinggi via Anai Valley. Enroute stop for a while in Anai Waterfall,
Information Centre of Minangkabau Culture in Padang Panjang.

DAY 02
BUKITTINGGI – KING’S PALACE - LAKE MANINJAU (B,L)
After breakfast in hotel, start by visiting the breathtaking Sianok Grand Canyon,
Fort De Kock, Zoo and Museum, Walking around the Clock Tower and Market.
Then proceed to Lake Maninjau with a stop at Embun Pagi Top for a beautiful
landscape surroundings. After lunch at restaurant enjoy your self with a break
and a swim. In the afternoon back to Bukittinggi.

DAY 03
BUKITTINGGI – KING’S PALACE – PADANG (B,L)
After breakfast in hotel, visit Pagaruyung Palace, site of the ancient Minangkabau
Kingdom where the queen ruled a matrilineal society. Lunch will be served
enroute. Afternoon arrive in Padang and enjoy sight seeing before check in to
your hotel.

DAY 04
HOTEL – AIRPORT (B)
After breakfast in Hotel, free program until the time for transfer to BIM Airport for
your Departure to the next destination.

Lunch will be served enroute to Pagaruyung Palace. On the way back to
Bukittinggi visit the oldest West Sumatra Village of Pariangan and Pandai Sikek
Village for Wood Carving and Weaving Handicraft.

DAY 03
HOTEL – AIRPORT (B)
After breakfast in Hotel, free programme until the time for transfer to BIM
Airport for your departure to the next destination.
